Dental Clinic

All year 8 students will be issued with an enrolment form to transfer their dental treatment to the dentist. They need to fill out this form and it is required back at the Arrowtown Dental Clinic by December 16. Treatment is free until they are 18 years of age. For any queries please call 03 442 1769.

The dental clinic is closed from Dec 23 - Jan 9, and open again on Jan 10 - Tues, Wed, Thur, 8am - 4.30pm.

We will have a 10am start, Thursday 18 August, due to the forecast of severe frosts as many of our teachers live in Queenstown/Arthurs Point. Buses will run 1hr later than usual.

All schools in the Wakatipu Basin have a delayed start today (Weds 13 July) because of road conditions. School will start at 10am today. All buses in the Wakatipu Basin will be running one hour late this morning.

Ski Rental Fitting Postponed

The pre-fitting of rental equipment for children participating in the school ski programme that was set for Friday 10 June has been postponed, as there are not yet rental staff available to fit the equipment, due to the complete lack of snow. We do not yet have an alternative date as it is in the weather gods hands!

"You've got the Power"

This Friday 8 April we have the El Gregoe show performing ‘You’ve got the Power’ in the hall for all children. The show teaches key values that make the ingredients for good friendships with a strong emphasis on a bully free environment. The cost for the show is $4 per person.  Please return money in an envelope by Friday morning to the office.  Please have your child’s name, room number and ‘El Gregoe show’ on the front of the envelope.

A big thank you to all the children, parent helpers, Councillor Lex Perkins and other volunteers who supported our Walk n Wheels event in early March.  Eight schools in the district participated with cycle skills being a big focus during the week.  Our thanks to Element for spot prizes and expert advice on helmet and bike safety.  Our special thanks to Constables Beth Fookes and Zoe Albon who led the cycle skills courses and sparked enthusiasm to get our children walking and wheeling.  Also to o... read more »
