New Enrolments

Enrolment at Arrowtown School is governed by an enrolment scheme. If you are living within the enrolment zone (map below), your child/ren have automatic right of entry. You can check your exact address here.

For out of zone enrolments, there will be notification in the mountain scene twice per year for mid year and and start of year placements. 

We are now taking out of zone enrolments for the start of Term 3 2024. 

Places at Arrowtown School will be prioritised in the following order:

a) students accepted for enrolment in a special programme run by the school;

b) siblings of current students;

c) siblings of former students;

d) child of a former student;

e) children of board employees or a child of a board member;

f) all other students

Capacity for the different year levels for start of term 3 2024 are as follows:

• Year 8 - Five Spaces

• Year 7 - No Availability

• Year 6 - Three Spaces

• Year 5 - No Availability

• Year 4 - Twelve Spaces

• Year 3 - Five Spaces

• Year 2 - Ten Spaces

• Year 1 - No Availability 

• New Entrants - Five Spaces

Contact the office to register your interest.  We cannot guarantee a placement for all students, there may be a ballot for selection.

At enrolment time you need to bring the following documents to the office, or email copies to the office:

• • • a NZ birth certificate (available from Births, Deaths and Marriages on 0800 22 52 52) or NZ passport

    • or proof of residency or student visa (if not a New Zealand citizen)

    • or Australian passport (NZ has a reciprocal agreement with Australia)

along with the following:

• • • proof of residence (e.g. a rates bill, etc.) to confirm that the child is "in zone"

    • an immunisation certificate completed and signed by the doctor or practice nurse
