Year 5 & 6 playground activities day

Kia ora,

We are looking forward to our day at The Playground (Thursday Year 6, Friday Year 5).

Below is a timetable of the day and a list of children traveling in cars. The rest of the children will be traveling to and from the Playground on the busses.

If you haven't already, please complete The Playground's online Waiver. This is a requirement of The Playground - (no waiver no participation). If you still need to do this, please click on the link above and complete this asap.

Timetable for the day

9 am - meet in the hall for roll

9.30 - Cars & Buses depart school for The Playground (Alan Reids Road, Queenstown - The old Flight Park)

10 - 11 am Rotation one

11 - 11.15 am morning tea

11.15 am - 12.15 pm Rotation two

12.15 - 12.45 pm lunch

12.45 - 1.45 pm Rotation thee

1.45 - 2 pm finishing up

2 - 2.30 pm departing The Playground for Arrowtown School.

3 pm - Home time from school

What to pack in your child's school bag:

- sunhat & sunblock

- drink bottle

- jacket

- snacks, lunch

- any medication needed for the day (such as hayfever, asthma inhaler, epipen)

- wear sports shoes (trainers/sneakers) and clothes to move and climb in
