OFFICE MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced admin person to run the front office at Arrowtown School.
This position is full time, school term time only.
Our person needs to be someone who enjoys working with both children and adults. The role offers a busy and varied environment with a supportive team.
We are seeking someone who is computer literate, quick to learn new systems, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
Managing reception including the enrolment of all new children
Daily attendance processes and recording of student attendance with our digital student management system (HERO)
Database management (HERO)
Communicate with staff, family and community
Manage social media and digital platforms (G-Suite)
Day to day management of front office including medical room
Day to day financial management support (HERO and Xero)
We are looking for a person with the following attributes:
Good communication skills, both written and oral
A strong work ethic with an attention to detail
Professional, collaborative, motivated, approachable and empathetic
An ability to maintain a high level of confidence
Proficiency in Google Suite, and preferably Xero
Strong organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workloads
Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
