Venue hire

Arrowtown School spaces are available for hire outside school hours (after 3:00 PM weekdays, or weekends by negotiation).

All bookings must include your own setup and pack-down time.

A one-off $50.00 administration fee applies to new recurring or major bookings.

PRIVATE SOCIAL FUNCTIONS: Activities that are not directly school-related, though staff and students may attend as general members of the Arrowtown public (e.g., children's birthday parties or family gatherings where no commercial fee is charged).

COMMERCIAL: All other facility hires where the organising individual, business, or group is charging entry/participation fees or generating a commercial profit.
COMMUNITY (NOT FOR PROFIT CLUBS): This tier applies to established local sports clubs, cultural groups, or incorporated societies that operate on a not-for-profit basis, but charge nominal membership or seasonal fees solely to cover operational costs (not for commercial gain).
COMMUNITY (VOLUNTEER GROUPS): This tier applies to registered not-for-profit organisations, charities, and informal local groups where absolutely no fees (membership, entry, or participation) are charged to participants or the public.

Strictly Prohibited: Smoking, vaping, and indoor wheels (scooters/skates) are banned across all school grounds. No animals allowed (except service dogs).
Alcohol: Requires prior approval from the Principal and Board, appropriate council licensing, and a refundable $500.00 bond.
Cleanliness: Facilities must be left exactly as they were found.

Hirers are responsible for securing the venue. Negligence results in automatic charges:

Untidy Premises: $60.00/hr cleaning fee.
Lost Key/Fob: $50.00 per item.
Security Callout: $95.00 for user-triggered alarm errors.
False Fire Alarm: $1,125.00 if the Fire Brigade is dispatched due to vaping or cooking mishaps.
